Our Customer was in the design completion phase of their Clinic development plan, and asked us to propose a  terrarium that would captivate and amaze their customers.

The Laurtizen Gardens in Omaha Nebraska underwent a $10M Phase 2 renovation, and chose In Situ to help create its Plant Library. The idea was to show off its specimen plant collection in three stylishly ornamented large scale terrariums that are fully automated.

Our Customer's imagination at the Lauritzen Gardens called for eight "coach light" hanging terrariums that could show off their prized specimen plants.  Our challenge was to incorporate all of the necessary systems in a manner that did not detract from the overall aesthetics.

Our Clinic customer got so excited about the look of their first terrarium they decided to dedicate an entire corner of their lobby to a much bigger system.  Stay tuned as we develop and install this magnificent terrarium and its living occupants, which will include plants, animals, insects, as well as fish.
